The Proper Way to Perform Traffic Stop.

1. Execute Traffic Stop With Lights and Sirens.

2. Location and Type of Stop (exe. Red light, Speeding,Illegal U-turn) Using /r chat.
(A) Description of Vehicle and # Of occupants
(B) If more then one occupant call for back up Immediately

3. Make Sure Ur Cop car is slighty pointing out so you don't get run over.
(A) If on Highway approach from Passenger Side.

4. State your name and Badge # to the Driver of the car.
(A) Ask if they know why you pulled them Over.

5. Ask For DL (Drivers Lic)

6. If driver Has Weapons Lic ask if they have any guns on them. If so Ask them to step out and explain you are cuffing them for your safety and yours.

7. If weapons are illegal (Full Auto) call for chiefs assistance. DO NOT attempt on your own to disarm them.

8. If Valid DL and No Illegal Weapons. State You'll be right back.

9. Check /wanted make sure they are clean. if suspect or wanted go up and tell them to step out and Say you have a warrant for arrest.
(A) arrest suspect

10. If not wanted issue them warning or citation what ever is needed for traffic stop. Make sure to follow Price Guide for tickets.

11. After Citation tell them to have good day or something along that lines and return to car. Let dispatch know that traffic stop is over and return back to patrol.
